Tokio Hotel jubeln über "VMA"-Nominierung!

Können Bill, Tom, Gustav und Georg im September einen der begehrten Awards gewinnen?

Was für ein Erfolg für Tokio Hotel: In der Kategorie "Bestes Pop Video" wurden sie für den Clip zu "Ready, Set, Go!" für die "MTV Video Music Awards 2008" nominiert - Seite an Seite mit den Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Danity Kane und Panic At The Disco.

"Das ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes für uns - das ist Amerika das ist unser erster amerikanischer Award, und das ist so eine große Sache", sagte jetzt Bill Kaulitz (18) gegenüber "MTV News".

Vor der Konkurrenz haben die Jungs aber gehörigen Respekt - vor allem vor den Jonas Brothers: "Ich denke, die Jonas Brothers sind wirklich sehr erfolgreich in Amerika. Jeder spricht über die Jonas Brothers", so Bill. Aber schon die Nominierung bedeutet Tokio Hotel viel:

"Es ist so verrückt, ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben", schwärmt Bill. "Im letzten Jahr waren wir für die MTV Europe Music Awards nominiert, und das war schon das Größte für uns, und jetzt sind es die Video Music Awards."

Morgen startet die US-Tour der Band - und Bill & Co. sind schon ziemlich aufgeregt: "Wir sind vor jedem Konzert nervös", bestätigt Bill. "Ich glaube, wir sind die nervöseste Band der Welt!" Hoffentlich halten die Jungs die Anspannung bis zu den "MTV Video Music Awards 2008" am 7. September in Hollywood aus!

Can Bill, Tom, Gustav, and Georg win one of the most desired awards in September?

What a success for Tokio Hote: They were nominated in the category "Best Pop Video" at the "MTV Video Music Awards 2008" for the clip "Ready, SEt, go!"- side by side with the Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Danity Kane, and Panic at the Disco.

"That is really something special for us- that is America, that is our first American award, and that is such a big thing," said Bill Kaulitz (18) now over "MTV News".

Towards the competition, the boys have but proper respect- above all towards the Jonas Brothers: "I think the Jonas brothers are really very successful in America. Everyone talks about the Jonas Brothers," says Bill. But already the nomination means a lot to Tokio Hotel:

"It's so crazy, I still can't always believe it," Bill gueshes. "Last year, we were nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards, and that was already the biggest for us, and now it's the Video Music Awards."

Tomorrow the band starts the US Tour- and Bill and co. are already pretty excited: "We are nervous before every concert," confirms Bill. "I think we are the most nervous band in the world!". Hopefully the boys stand the strain until the "MTV Video Music Awards 2008" on September 7th in Hollywood!
